56th Annual Candlelight Capers, A Night in Monte Carlo

The 56th Annual Candlelight Capers, A Night in Monte Carlo, was presented by Biltmore Cardiology in support of Banner Health Foundation and Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center. The honorary chairs were Lisa and Alfredo Molina, Holly and Ken Van Winkle, Kari Zangerle and Dr. Kurt Zangerle. The black tie affair was a night of glitz and glamour with cocktails, raffle and a silent auction. Wine for the elegant dinner was sponsored by Internists, Oncologists LTD. Entertainment by The Groove Merchants, a terrific live auction and Monte Carlo Casino party completed the gala evening. Banner Health Foundation President and CEO Andy Kramer said, “This year Candelight Capers Ball benefits the Heart Failure Program, a division of the Cavanaugh Heart Center at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.” Support for the benefit came from many sponsors including Leah L. Lewis, Stephen Baker and Judith A. Berman. A special thank you goes to Ken Van Winkle, chairman of the Banner Health Foundation, for his four years of service to the nonprofit organization. We welcome Sharon Harper as she takes the position in January. On another note, thanks go to Tracy and Craig Coppola, the Benefactors Chairs for 2010-2011, for their volunteer leadership.
