Ballet Arizona
The Ballet Thing 2012 was a festive, fun and playful evening at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Guests previewed IbAndersen’s PLAY before the Company’s debut at The Joyce Theater in New York City, enjoyed dinner and dancing, celebrating Ballet Arizona. Co-Chairs Jacquie Dorrance, Sharron Lewis, and Carol Schilling set the tone for a great party. The black tie optional event supported the New York debut of PLAY. This summer Ballet Arizona and the School of Ballet Arizona take up residence at their new state-of-the-art facility located at 2835 East Washington Street in Phoenix. Premiering in May, Ballet Arizona will present TOPIA at Desert Botanical Garden, a ballet created specifically for DBG by Ib Anderson.
